Carers Week is being held 10th – 16th June, it is an annual campaign which shines a spotlight on the millions of unpaid Carers like you, who dedicate themselves to supporting family members, friends or neighbours who are ill, disabled, have a mental health condition, or an addiction.

The theme for Carers Week 2024 is “Putting Carers on the Map.” This theme aims to raise awareness of the crucial role you as a Carer play in society and ensures your voices are heard loud and clear. Carers UK, the leading charity behind the campaign, highlights the need for increased visibility among policymakers, employers, and communities.

A Time for Support and Recognition

Carers Week is a chance to raise awareness of unpaid Carers and it is an opportunity to educate the wider community about the diverse roles you as unpaid Carers undertake and the support you may need. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness of Gloucestershire Carers Hub and the wide variety of support and resources available.
