Caring about Equality
Carers Week is being held 9th – 15th June, it is an annual campaign which shines a spotlight on the millions of unpaid Carers in the UK, who dedicate themselves to supporting family members, friends or neighbours who are ill, disabled, have a mental health condition, or addiction.
The theme for Carers Week 2025, Caring About Equality, highlights the inequalities facing unpaid Carers in the UK today and the steps needed to create a fairer society for Carers.
A Time for Support and Recognition
Carers Week is a chance to raise awareness of unpaid Carers and it is an opportunity to educate the wider community about the diverse roles unpaid Carers undertake and the support they need. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness of Gloucestershire Carers Hub and the wide variety of support and resources we offer to Carers.
Gloucestershire Carers Hub and Carers Week
Throughout Carers Week we will be in various locations around Gloucestershire, speaking to members of the public, Carers and other organisations about our services and what we offer. More information will follow.
