Extreme Heat Warning
We are sending you this special communication to support you when dealing with the extreme heat which we are predicted to have over the weekend and into the beginning of next week.
We wanted to make sure you have all the relevant information you need, to protect yourselves and the person you support ahead of the high temperatures.
Below are some useful hints, tips and things to remember:
- Stay hydrated
- Keep out of the sun between 11.00am and 3.00pm
- Sit inside or in shaded areas whichever feels cooler
- Apply sun cream and wear a hat
- Avoid physical exertion
- Wear light, loose fitting cotton clothes
- Eat cold foods, particularly salads as they have a high-water

Sessions have been cancelled
You will see from the links which have been sent out, a few of our usual sessions have been cancelled due to the predicted temperatures which we are forecast. This is to ensure that your wellbeing and safety are prioritised during the heatwave. Rest assured they will return as normal once the temperatures subside.
