Eating Well: Supporting Adults with a Learning Disability

A 2 day workshop aiming to build confidence and knowledge in providing and encouraging good nutrition for the service users you work with.

The course is free of charge and is aimed at Support/Care Workers working in the community with adults with a learning disability. Limited places will also be available for NHS employees with a special interest. The course will be delivered by 2gether Trust’s Specialist Dietitian. It will include practical workshops and take home resources for use in your place of work.

Positive Caring – Practical Support through Music and Song

This workshop will be delivered by Mindsong. It has been adapted for Carers who care for individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory problems. You will learn practical skills to support the person you care for at home through music therapy and song. Come along to this fun, interactive workshop and gain some skills and knowledge to support you in your caring role.
